Welcome to my blog. I’m a writer and student. I’ve been meaning to start a blog for my writing and stuff so this is it. I’ll be updating it rather rarely, but at least I’ll be keeping my shorter stuff up on the internet.

This page will contain my writing, mostly fiction. They’re quite long and usually stories take a long time to write, so as I mentioned before it’ll be getting updated only very rarely. I’ve only put up a couple of stories so far, both in the menu above. I’ll upload more as I figure out how to arrange them nicely or complete the little bits that need fixing. Also, a novel is in the works- I’ve finished writing one and am still editing and stuff before sending it to publishers, so that’s there as well- I hope it gets published so you can say you knew me before I was ‘famous’ haha.

I’ll also post up some stuff regarding the situation in my country, the Maldives- but I’m not a journalist, so they’re there more as just a summary of events than as proper articles, though those will be under the ‘Articles’ tab.

As for more about myself. I love books, writing, FC Barcelona, and eighties teen movies. If you loved Say Anything (the movie), I really like you already. I’m 19 and will be going to college soon. I’m super idealistic and I wanna go to a Lenka show- and meet Lenka- sometime. I have a huge crush on Jade McSorley (sigh- and if you’re reading this, by the way, hi!) I have excessive wanderlust and dream of living in New York, London, Milan and Barcelona at some point in my life, preferably while still young. I’m still in the dark about a lot of things as regards to the makeup of my life from where I’ll be studying for the next four years to how I start off my career path, but I’ll know a lot of the details for all those by next month so I’ll add more detail then. (Edit: I’ll be a college student doing Bachelor of Economics/Bachelor of Teaching in Adelaide, Australia).
